Every jump begins with a boost from you!

The AFSC Jump to It booster program invites individuals, families, and businesses to help us create a fun, inclusive, and high-quality skating experience for skaters of all ages and levels. 

The Booster program runs annually from July 1 through June 30.
All benefits, including recognition and event tickets, are active for that year and renewed with your next donation. Your continued support helps us plan, grow, and keep our programs strong year after year.

Whether you're a proud parent, a former skater, a local business owner, or simply a fan of the sport, becoming a Booster means joining a circle of champions who fuel our club’s growth and success.

Why Boost?
Your support as a Booster helps skaters of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities find their place on the ice, whether it’s a child stepping into their first Learn to Skate class, a teen preparing for competition, or an adult rediscovering the sport they love.
When your Boost, you help us:

• Support AFSC events, like Great to Skate, the Holiday Gala, and our annual Spring Show​
• Foster a vibrant, welcoming environment where skaters can grow and belong

The Ames Figure Skating Club is a non-profit 501c(3) organization and your donation may be tax deductible. Business owners are invited to explore advertising options with AFSC and the Ames/ISU Ice Arena.

A Waltz Jump donation helps skaters like Jailine, a young competitor who’s already taken the ice at a few local events. Your support helps cover essentials like ice time and coaching, allowing her to keep training, improving, and gaining confidence with every skate. It’s a small boost that helps her keep moving forward.

​A Toe Loop donation supports skaters like Chloe, who not only trains and competes but gives back in big ways. Chloe co-created an AFSC program that brings ice skating to communities who might not otherwise have access to the sport. Your support helps her keep skating and keeps that spirit of inclusion gliding forward.
