Iowa Wild Exhibition Event | January 31, 2026

AFSC has been invited once again to perform during an Iowa Wild hockey game at Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines! This is an incredible opportunity for our skaters to showcase their skills in front of a large, energetic crowd. Invite your friends, family, and community members to get their discounted tickets here and cheer on the Iowa Wild and their favorite AFSC skaters!

REGISTRATION / EVENT DETAILS:

• When: January 31, 2026
• Where: Wells Fargo Arena, Des Moines
• Game Time: 6:00 p.m.
• Who Can Skate: AFSC skaters must be Free Skate level or above or the equivalent skill set (forward and backward skating with crossovers, turns, two foot spin, spirals or lunges or bunny hops).
• Registration Deadline: November 30, 2025
• Skaters will perform the same number at the Holiday Gala and the Iowa Wild game (those who register are expected to perform at both events). Note that this will not count towards their purchased Holiday Gala numbers.

PRACTICE:

• Skaters must attend 2–3 practices on club ice prior to the event
  • Practice times: December 6, December 13, December 10, and one more January practice that will be confirmed later.

GAME DAY DETAILS:

• Arrival: Skaters should plan to arrive by game start (6:00 p.m.) and go straight to their seats.
• Changing: A locker room will be provided for changing before the performance.
• Staging: Skaters will be met at the top of Section 113 with approximately 15 minutes left in the 2nd period.
• Warm-up: Once met at Section 113, skaters will head down and warm up.
• Special Needs: If your skater needs additional time in the locker room, please let us know so that arrangements can be made.​
